Fly Fishing Report for the Upper Delaware and Catskill Rivers
Fishing is excellent around the system. Expect to run into Drakes and Coffin in certain areas. March browns, sulfurs, olives and caddis are still hatching as well. We have been having some real sunny days this past week which has made it difficult mid afternoon but we are looking to have some upcoming cloudy days.
If you plan on fishing throughout the day, try nymphing the fast waters during the day until you see fish eating on top. Our clients have been doing very very well nymph fishing mid day.
IF you plan on fishing the beaver kill/ willow try a march brown parachute with a small pheasant tail dropper off the back. We have reports of this working very well right now.
If you want to get in on the action give us a call. Our guides will get you in on the action. 607-290-4022
