Upper Delaware Region Weather Update

Local Rivers on the Rise!

Last night some substantial rainfall moved through the region. Our very low rivers are now on the rise.

This morning all of our rivers are up and running with some level of turbidity. The turbidity level will vary depending on where you are. Expect for the freestones to be the most turbid due to their steeper gradient drop and the higher amount of tributaries that enter these rivers. It should be less on the tailwaters which have controlled dam releases and less tributaries.

All rivers should clear up quickly, 24 to 48 hours providing no additional rainfall occurs.

This rainfall along with the colder weather pattern should go a long way towards providing relief to our freestone trout rivers.
